Brayden McLaughlin

Owner and CEO

Brayden McLaughlin founded Bridgewater Consulting in August 2014, bringing his experience in city planning, architecture and urban design back to the private sector after working for various government entities as a project coordinator for five years. He holds a Masters of Community Planning degree from the University of Cincinnati. His experience with drafting, architecture, and neighborhood design helps Bridgewater to focus on custom home designs, home additions, remodels, and builder plans. He was born and raised in Lincoln and travels as much as possible to replenish creative inspiration to fuel Bridgewater’s designs.

Courtney Arnett

Interior Design Student

Courtney Arnett is studying Interior Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She was born in the town of Aurora, NE and pulls a lot of inspiration from the rural areas of the state and from where she was raised. She joined Bridgewater as our Interior Design intern in 2021.

Elena Felix

Architectural Designer

Elena Felix graduated with an undergraduate degree in interior design with a minor in architectural studies and is now continuing her education with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to pursue her masters in architecture. She is a Nebraska native who grew up in Omaha and has lived in Lincoln while attending school. In the future she would like to continue her work in the design-build realm, continuing the craft of hand-made design solutions.

Diya Kishore

Architecture Student 

Diya Kishore is currently a third-year architecture major with a minor in the Clifton Builders program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. A Nebraska native, she was born in Omaha, NE. Diya intends to continue her education by pursuing a Master's in Architecture after completing her undergraduate studies. In her future career, she would like to further her career by creating and designing functional solutions all around the world.   

Mandy Kottas

Architectural Designer

Mandy Kottas received her Masters in Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  After graduation, she worked as an Architectural Designer in Lincoln.  She was then employed as an Environmental and Civil Engineer Officer for the Nebraska Air National Guard.  After her time in the military, she moved to Nashville, TN where she worked for an interior architecture firm.  Then, she transitioned to hands-on residential design and construction.  She spends her free time on creative endeavors and home projects.

Alex Nunn

Architectural Designer and Draftsman

Alex Nunn was born and raised in Lincoln. He attended Southeast High School and then graduated from Southeast Community College with an Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design with project experience in commercial interiors and residential home plans. Alex is also currently a full-time employee at Architectural Innovations as an Engineering Technician and owns his own landscaping services business. 

Josh Redwine

Draftsman

Josh Redwine is a native of Lincoln and graduated with a bachelors degree in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2011. He began his professional career at the Nebraska Department of Transportation as a local projects coordinator. Josh has a passion for the arts and is an avid landscape photographer and also enjoys writing novels and short fiction. 

Rex Sandquist 

Architectural Designer

Rex Sandquist's knowledge and experience in a wide breadth of areas allows him to approach complex architectural problems from a wide variety of perspectives offering a multitude of solutions. Rex received his Bachelor of Science in Design with a minor in landscape architecture and went on to receive his Master of Architecture, both from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Rex brings a practical, yet outside-the-box way of thinking to the team, managing projects and guiding the creative vision to bring those ideas to fruition. While away from his desk, Rex enjoys maintaining his garden and throwing together a mean bowl of chili. You might also catch him out on the bike trails in and around Lincoln.
